Growing older is something our culture wants to avoid at all costs. Often older people are dismissed, ignored, and forgotten by their families and neighborhood. We believe that everyone deserves special attention and recognition.
Timeless Wise Solutions hears the voice of the older population living at home and in a neighborhood.
Why Did You Start timeless wise solutions?
“After starting a home care agency, I witnessed firsthand the irrational and uncoordinated medical care system and the long-term care needs of older people. So I decided to start a nonprofit that would give practical solutions to people. Long-term care is not adequately defined, understood, or explained by professionals. The belief that our medical doctors would be willing and capable of stepping in and acting as advocates is over. The medical profession does not have the stability to step into that role. At this point, we need a multi-disciplined approach that can navigate all the different medical, social, financial, and spiritual levels. We don't possess all the answers, but we understand the various needs and strive to make it happen."
